Why should someone get started with counseling?

Individuals can benefit from working one-on-one with one of our trained staff members in a safe and confidential environment.

Here are some examples of why someone might get started:

  • depression

  • anxiety

  • personality disorders

  • family issues

  • life changes

  • mood swings or feeling alone

  • other mental heath concerns such as emotional or behavior difficulties

What does it look like for me?

Individual sessions typically last between 45 and 50 minutes. How often someone attends (frequency and duration) depends largely on someone’s needs, goals and progress.

Most patients continue their normal routine

  • family activities

Treatment can also go hand-in-hand with IOP and family sessions. Some individuals find many great benefits from combining our services.

Program Outcomes

  • Skills training about crisis management, life skills, emotional regulation, resiliency, motivation. acceptance and communication

  • Reduction in symptoms of anxiety, depression, traumas

  • Learn about DBT, CBT, and solution focused problem-solving skills to manage symptoms

  • Learn treatment approaches that include holistic treatment and family approaches if desired

  • Identify skills to improve and self-maintain mental wellness
