Dr. Winterholler has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. He completed a Bachelor's degree in 2000, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology in 2003, and a PhD in Family Psychology in 2006. He has been independently licensed since 2003. In 2018 he graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Management.
Seth has extensive experience in mental health, having worked for Children’s Mental Health, State of Idaho for several years and served as a designated examiner to determine placement for suicidal individuals in crisis situations. He has been an adjunct instructor for honors psychology online for the University of California Santa Cruz, a member of the American Psychological Association, and an Idaho Supreme Court-appointed mediator for child custody. Dr Winterholler has been a clinical supervisor for over a decade giving supervision to clinical staff at the clinic, but also to graduates trying to obtain licensure through the State.
He currently is the owner and Executive Director of Turning Point Center for Change overseeing the delivery of all mental health services. Dr. Winterholler developed and credentialed the clinic in 2014. He recently developed a Teen Intensive Outpatient Program for teens who need more than once a week counseling and enjoys delivering many of the services of the program.
Dawn graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2001, and a Master of Social Work from Walla Walla College in 2005.
Dawn has been with Turning Point since the first day. She provides counseling to adults, teens, and families and specializes in domestic violence, sexual abuse, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression.
She has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field having previously been a Crisis Call Center Worker, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist, and Caseworker.
Shawna graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2012, and a Master of Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University in 2014
Shawna provides counseling to adults, children, teens, and families, and specializes in supportive therapy to assist clients in developing skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
She has over a decade of experience in the mental health field, having previously been a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist, and Caseworker, developing plans for children for behavior control, social skills, and symptom management.
Alysha provides counseling to adults, teens, and families.
She has experience with diagnosis, treatment planning, and creating evidence-based planning. She has worked in clinical and substance abuse populations.
Tom has vast experience in the mental health field having previously served as the Chief of Social Work for Children’s Mental Health, State of Idaho for well over a decade.
Tom specializes in working with families, couples, and individuals.
Skilled in facilitating group, family, and individual sessions with diverse client struggles. Background with high risk clientele including clients suffering from mood and personality disorders, trauma, and crisis situations, and drug and alcohol dependency.
Trained in (ART) Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
